My name is Marlon Garnett. I am from Los Angeles, California where I was born and raised. I attended Hamilton High School in Los Angeles and was fortunate to receive a full basketball scholarship to Santa Clara University from 1993 - 1997 and graduated receiving a degree in finance. During my studies, I also enjoyed a successful basketball career where I played three years with two-time MVP and NBA Star Steve Nash.
After graduating, I began my pro basketball career in Europe. After one season, I was given the opportunity to play in the NBA with the Boston Celtics. Challenged with some injuries which cut my NBA career short, I returned to playing in Europe and have continued my career there to date. I have moved my permanent address from California and now reside in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. I am married to my lovely wife Anais, and have two beautiful little girls, Amaia and Sarai.
I come from a background and upbringing based on the foundations and teachings of Christ and continue in my commitment to serving and glorifying my Almighty God. The Grace of God has brought me to where I am today. God has blessed me with a prosperous and fulfilling basketball career in which I have accomplished my dreams. To Him I am grateful. In Luke 12:48, the Bible says, "To whom much is given, from him much will be required." So let me be a vessel to help you attain and reach your own goals and dreams.
By His Grace,
